Join us at.Job Description The ideal candidate will work closely with our client's analytics, marketing, content, and consumer research teams. They are solution oriented and has both breadth and depth of coverage across most digital channels. The VP, Analytics candidate has excellent communication skills and can lead a talented team of analytic associates in the execution and delivery of our products and services. Data Strategy Understands how to approach complex problems by outlining several ways to approach the challenges, is able to structure the approach from a cost / benefit perspective and confidently guide a team through execution Considered a "thought leader" within the Data team and broader region for strategic insight and ability to apply insights to multiple client situations (core client work, BD, etc.) Considered an SME in multiple areas and can train other team members in these areas Independently able to drive internal and external stakeholder alignment to drive strategy and meet specific business objectives Communication Skills Effectively able to assess and resolve issues, and identify and react to client and internal needs, opportunities, and issues Commands client audiences and turns presentations into a constructive dialogue that facilitates discussions on improvements / new approaches with a focus on additional opportunities or BD Tailors presentations to the audience Effectively leads work sessions and meetings even with less structured agendas Helps others take on leadership positions Oversees others in organizing and preparing a well- written documents Uses clear, concise writing to connect key insights together and communicate an effective story that illustrates key learnings Is flexible in showing depth or breadth of expertise depending on the audience Owns template creation for best-in-class delivery of analytical outputs Client Engagement Is a visible presence to senior external clients and is a trusted advisor to mid- level client management Can frame the key issues facing the client and develops recommended approaches Actively reaches out to develop new business partnerships Able to lead the development of large client strategic agenda Tracks and demonstrates value generated by the data team Focuses on increasing share and profitability of a client's business Proactively engages senior client team to inform them of industry and client- specific strategic issues Is sought out by all clients as expert on industry and client- specific strategic issues Understands key levers that can be used to improve client business Tools & Techniques Recommends and understands various applicable data tools, martech / adtech platforms, and cloud solutions to address and identify both internal and external strategic needs Understands needs and applications of advanced analytical methods and works with Data Science / Engineering / Instrumentation SMEs to ensure projects are planned and executed correctly Identifies and evaluates potential vendors and socializes vendors within our capability Analytics Planning and Implementation Understands the potential investments needed or organizational r
