Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Quality Assurance Analyst in the professional services industry, located in Boston, Massachusetts. The QA Analyst will be primarily responsible for maintaining the quality assurance of our web platforms and contributing to enhancing our web applications. The role involves working closely with various teams and executing manual testing.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of testing web platforms focusing on functional testing

• Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, test scripts, and traceability matrix

• Identify, document, and report bugs and defects discovered during the QA process

• Identify user experience issues as part of the quality assurance process

• Contribute to the software development process by providing feedback on requirements specifications and technical design

• Provide estimates for quality assurance testing tasks

• Advise technology management on release decisions based on associated risks

• Lead User Acceptance Testing efforts for large projects

• Ensure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements

• Use Atlassian Jira, Database, HP ALM, AB Testing, Defect Management, Integration, QA Management, Smoke Testing, Automated Regression Testing for various tasks and projects. Requirements • Proficiency in using Atlassian Jira for project management and issue tracking

• Expertise in Bug Tracking to identify, record and follow up on bugs in the system

• Knowledge of Database systems and their management

• Experience with HP ALM for application lifecycle management

• Skills in AB Testing to compare system variants and improve user experience

• Proficiency in Defect Management to identify, record, and rectify defects in the system

• Experience in system Integration and ensuring all system components work together effectively

• Skills in QA Management to oversee all aspects of quality assurance process

• Knowledge of Smoke Testing to ensure the basic functionalities of a system work properly

• Experience in Automated Regression Testing to detect bugs after changes in the system. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
