Overview:
Job Title: SharePoint Architect Location: Camp Arifjan, Kuwait
Security Clearance: Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance (Interim Secret Clearance is acceptable)
Requisition Type:Funded
Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
Kuwait has enacted a new law prohibiting the issuance of work permits to persons aged 60 or older unless they hold a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited University.
Job Responsibilities:
The SharePoint Architect will create and maintain documentation for SharePoint infrastructure, development and operational practices. Assist in the definition, development, and documentation of mission requirements, objectives, deliverable, and specifications on a project-by-project basis in collaboration with users. Be the senior technical resource at site and guide project with consulting on technical decisions and ensure success of mission project goals .
Define, architect and implement solutions within the SharePoint/ Office 365 framework.
Comprehensive experience with SharePoint configuration through the web UI and PowerShell.
Experience using SharePoint server-side and client-side object models.
Experience in the implementation of SharePoint collaboration tools (forums/issue lists, document/form libraries, etc.), and the ability to seamlessly integrate with other Microsoft tools
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Facilitate SharePoint adoption by end users by interacting with clients throughout project lifecycle.
Travel CONUS/OCONUS to support missions up to 10%.
Minimum Qualifications:
A minmum of five (5) years experience providing both back-end and front end coding and support for SharePoint legacy environments from 2016 to 2019.
Must have a minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience in technical support for Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003/System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2007 or SCCM 2012 in an Enterprise environment.
Must be knowledgeable with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint Online), including older versions starting from SharePoint 2016.
Must possess advanced proficiency in programming languages such as jQuery, JavaScript, C#, and CAML, TypeScript utilizing VS Code.
Must have extensive experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint Designer, NINTEX, and InfoPath.
Must have experience in SPFx development specifically with SharePoint Online.
Must have the following required certifications: Microsoft Certified IT Professional or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) , Security+.
Education:
- Bachelor’ s degree in Information Systems Management or related field , OR An associate’s degree plus 7 total years of recent specialized experience , OR eleven ( 1 1 ) total years of recent specialized experience.
