Description We are in search of a Project Accountant to join our construction team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This role involves managing our accounting functions, utilizing various accounting software systems, and playing a key role in our budget processes. As this is a contract position, it presents a unique opportunity to gain experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Sage 100, Procore, and Excel to manage accounting functions

• Handle accounts payable and billing functions for commercial construction projects

• Maintain accurate records of construction applications software

• Assist in budget processes for construction projects

• Leverage knowledge of the construction industry to drive accounting functions

• Manage CapEx for construction projects

• Utilize Deltek and Deltek Vision for project accounting purposes

• Ensure all construction accounting practices align with industry standards

• Leverage construction industry experience to improve accounting processes

• Use Costpoint for project accounting and financial management. Requirements • Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with Capital Expenditure (CapEx) management

• Experience using Costpoint and Deltek Vision software

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions effectively

• Knowledgeable in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Capable of managing Billing Functions

• Understanding of Budget Processes in a construction setting

• Experience in the Construction industry is required

• Proficiency in using Procore and Sage 100 software

• Experience in handling Commercial Construction Projects

• Familiarity with Construction Accounting practices

• Knowledge in using Construction Applications Software

• Prior Construction Industry Experience is essential.
