About the Role

The Identity & Access Governance (IAG) program currently is in the process of centralizing Wellington Staff access controls through a centralized toolset. The program has 4 distinct focus areas in 2024:

Replacement of IAG User Interface for requesting & approving access. Transforming Access Control Management Control Processes Migration from legacy IAG tools to new IAG Tools Establish compliance reporting to enable the business to remediate their own areas of non compliance;

The role of the Service Now User Interface Developer & Systems Integrator will include:

  • Lead developer of the IAG User Interface in Service Now Catalogs visualized in Employee Service Centre. Be able to think like a Business End User not a technologist.

  • Lead knowledge transfer from the incumbent vendor developer partner once Go Live Engagement concludes in late 2024.

  • Partner with rest of IAG Team to understand changes in IAG Software/APIs that may impact the Service Now Front End to ensure no outages are experienced

  • Maintain accurate & up to date design playbooks, update sets, operating procedures, training material for IAG Administrators in Service Now.

  • Design & implement new requirements, enhancements to existing functionality and custom workflows as the IAG Solution matures over time,

  • Testing and Quality Assurance – Rigorously test software for bugs and performance during all stages of development and package for promotion

In due course this role will likely expand to design & develop additional Service Now Solutions/Integrations within the Enterprise Risk/Information Security departments.

Skillset Must Haves

  • Service Now Fundamentals - Strong ServiceNow hands on development experience

  • Experience on ServiceNow applications like Employee Service Centre (ESC), Service Portal, IT Service Management (ITSM), Integration HUB, and Automation Testing Framework (ATF)

  • 5+ years of combined experience on ServiceNow software development.

  • Must have demonstrated experience in Service Portal development, ESC, Service Catalog development, REST based integrations with external tools and Remote tables-based architecture.

  • Integration Skills: ServiceNow is integrated with various systems and tools. Candidates should have extensive experience at integrating ServiceNow with other programs, web services, databases, and APIs.

  • PowerShell skills to support and extend the integrations with AD, CyberArk and HashiVault – Candidate must have experience of PowerShell to support and extend existing integration with PowerShell and other systems using ServiceNow PowerShell spoke architecture.

  • Automated Testing: Build automated test patterns to ensure solutions hosted in Service Now do not break with Service Now or Integrated Vendor upgrades.

  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Skilled to manage the development & implementation of complex business requirements & troubleshoot/resolve issues in a timely manner.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to partner with teams who use Service Now solutions to turn business requirements into functional specifications, design & implementation.

  • Nice to have

  • Experience in working in Financial Services Organizations & Cyber Security Teams

  • Experience working with Snowflake or other data repositories & reporting tools

  • ITIL Knowledge: Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) processes is advantageous.

Team Dynamics

  • Must be able to handle complexities and cross project dependencies and how those impact their BOW.

  • Must be able to work in a global team across different regions and time zones and comfortable with Matrix Management.

  • Ability to contribute and collaborate with the IAG managers in establishing role requirements and integration patterns.

  • Comfortable with working closely with IAG stakeholders and architects for project and program delivery milestones.

  • Possesses advanced listening skills and advanced team dynamic problem solving, root cause analysis, and resolution.

  • Has worked efficiently and effectively in IAG teams in a highly demanding environment.

  • Proven performance in critical thinking and usage of innovative thinking for enhancing team capabilities and providing solutions for new challenges, issues, and requirements – must be comfortable to challenge the status quo with stakeholders and IT teams.

The program is currently a global matrix team across 3 offices – London, Boston, and Needham. Ideally a successful candidate will be based in Needham, MA – other locations may be considered for the right applicant.

Our approach to compensation considers all aspects of total compensation; all employees are eligible to receive salary, variable compensation, and benefits. The base salary range for this position is:

USD 100,000 - 225,000

This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.

Base salary is only one component of Wellington’s total compensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and/ or Incentives, if eligible.
