Treasury Wine Estates Financial Analyst in Melbourne, Australia

Financial Analyst – 12-month contract

Role can be based in TWEB, Magill or Collins St

About the role

Reporting to the Finance Manager – Financial Control & Shared Services – Penfolds, this role will focus building strong working relationships with stakeholders across Business Services, Supply Finance and liaising with the offshore team in Mumbai to deliver key financial requirements to both divisional and group finance teams.

  • Subject matter expert to migrate fixed assets into JDE for acquisitions

  • Support the operational governance for ANZ capital projects & fixed assets management.

  • Working primarily with stakeholders within ANZ Supply, but also wider ANZ Portfolio & Project Managers

  • Support the budgeting processes for depreciation & capitalisation

  • Support the overall management and integrity of the fixed assets register

  • Responsible for overseeing monthly balance sheet reconciliation governance activities including, monitoring timely completion of reconciliations as it relates to fixed assets.

  • Working closely with the Mumbai based Blackline Administrator to ensure integrity of Blackline data and processes.

About you

With proven experience in fixed accounting, you will have a structured, organised approach to ensure quality outcomes are delivered in accordance with tight timeframes. Given the global aspect of the role some out of hours may be required to support international stakeholders.

  • Self-starter, curiosity to dive into the detail and build out understanding of process

  • Get into the detail, quickly understand transaction flows and impacts

  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge with a solutions mindset

  • Great interpersonal & communication skills

  • Blackline (Reconciliation module) experience preferred and/or a desire to build these skills/knowledge

  • JDE ERP experience preferred

  • CA / CPA (preferred)
