The Amazon Robotics (AR) Operations organization oversees the manufacturing of high-quality robotics and gets the right materials to the right place at the right time to enable our automated solutions. It’s a fast-paced operation that works cross-functionally with teams across Amazon globally, and is driven by data and performance indicators.

This role will report to the Robotics Manufacturing & Technical Operations (RMTO) Business Operations Leader and will be responsible for the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) processes and tools. We are looking for a candidate with a solid understanding of ERP Management processes, tools, and connectivity with other services and systems. The ERP Business Systems Analyst (SUPENG IV) will own all aspects of the ERP system including the integrity of the data. In this role, you are not just a policy-maker/spokesperson but need to dive deep and get things done. You will develop the right metrics to manage the ERP system and drive org-wide continuous improvement. You will chart the course enabling digital twin capabilities as we visualize the supply chain & production environment and leverage new system functionality to enable business value creation for customers.

Key job responsibilities

  • Manage the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) processes and tools

  • Manage the integration and automation of business tools related to the ERP process (Agile PLM, Proplanner MES, production IT, test equipment platforms, business analytics tools, etc.)

  • Define ERP process paths with standardized operating procedures, metrics to monitor process health, and standardized user profiles based on roles to facilitate onboarding.

  • Develop and manage business process mapping, process gap identification, and gap reconciliation.

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement actions for the various ERP modules (ASCP, Inventory, WMS, MRP, BOM, etc.) including trainings, root cause investigations, associated corrective actions.

  • Organize and manage ERP forums including scheduling, owning the agenda, and vetting facilitation of materials (business cases, roadmaps, enhancements help tickets, etc.).

  • Provide guidance to ERP user community and other Amazon organizations on ERP best practices.

  • Partner with application developers to scope and implement new product features, including acceptance testing and adoption.

  • Analyze and synthesize business requirements across RMTO to provide streamlined communications to IT partners.

  • Work with other process/application owners to synchronize and harmonize master data between Agile, Proplanner, Oracle EBS, iHUB, and other tools.

  • Identify and work cross-functionally to ensure solutions implemented enabling digital production process development.

About the team

The Business Operations team (Biz Ops) for Robotics Manufacturing Technical Operations (RMTO) works across the Fulfillment Technologies & Robotics (FTR) department to enable manufacturing scalability and adaptability to best serve the Amazon Operations Network. Through strategic thought leadership, we evaluate manufacturing constraints across the product portfolio to deliver solutions that optimize resource allocation and maximize customer responsiveness. Our team’s holistic and peculiar mindset allows us to develop the manufacturing leaders of tomorrow while delivering results for our customers.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.

  • 3-7 years of hands-on experience with ERP systems.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Applicable operational experience to understand relevant impacts of engineering/manufacturing changes.

  • Present a service-oriented attitude to all levels of personnel. Must be assertive, yet diplomatic.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Engineering or Business Master’s degree.

  • Proven knowledge of Oracle EBS (ERP) systems and the integration process from PLM to ERP systems and/or ERP to MES systems.

  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Quicksight, PowerBI, etc.)

  • Multidisciplinary background including IT configuration and business requirement development

  • PMP Certification and/or APICS Certification is a plus.
