Capgemini Software Engineer - DevOps Engineer in Plano, Texas

Job Description:

Implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and auto-scaling for services using Azure services. Such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Azure Monitor. Handle databases, virtual machines, dockers, and Azure resources using tools like Azure CLI, Azure Portal, and Azure PowerShell. Resolve issues related to performance, networking, storage, and security.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform initial due-diligence using diagnostic tools to understand the root-cause of the issue and help teams resolve issues.

  • Handle Azure Web Apps, Function Apps, Key Vaults, Azure PostgreSQL.

  • Ensure high availability, backup, and recovery of Azure resources.

  • Work closely with Dev and Infrastructure teams to ensure the products are moving towards the process from development to production Easily using agile methodologies and standard processes.

  • Automate processes and sub-processes using scripts such as Shell, Python, and PowerShell.

  • Build/update/maintain scripts for Azure pipelines.

  • Resolve git related issues!

Required Skills:

  • 7 years of Confirmed experience in DevOps experience.

  • Strong DevOps experience – on Azure DevOps and Jenkins.

  • Coding/development experience – conceptually strong (pref. – Shell, Python, PowerShell).

  • Query development for Greylogs and Grafana dashboards.

  • Experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and/or API wrappers.

  • Skills with SQL to run queries and interpret data to fix issues.

  • Should be self-learner and Active Listening.

  • Should be able to complete assigned work with minimal to no supervision!
