JOB SUMMARY Overall planning and management of estimating activities for specific construction projects, including preparation, interpretation and presentation of takeoffs to sales rep/s to help answer questions. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Able to perform all Estimator responsibilities
Review project plans, requirements, and specifications
Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and material sheets
Submit and relevant RFI’s specific to door hardware scope
Maintain good relationship with suppliers and subcontractors
Complete other responsibilities as assigned
SKILL REQUIREMENTS AND PERFORMANCE CRITERIA
Experience with new construction market as well as bid and takeoff process
Experience with Microsoft products – Word, Power Point, Excel, CRM, etc.
Excellent time management skills
Must be able to make educated decisions on the behalf of ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions
Hospitality experience is preferred but not required
Excellent customer service and communication skills is imperative
Must possess excellent mathematical and organizational skills
Imperative is high level initiative, personally and professionally
Must be possess an eye for attention to detail
Required to perform assigned duties accurately and efficiently
Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures
Ability to perform a variety of tasks at a high level of accuracy
Must possess a positive can do attitude
Daily attendance and punctuality is required for this position
