Nvidia Senior Display Architect in Santa Clara, California

We are looking for a Senior Architect to join our Display Team! NVIDIA has continuously reinvented itself over two decades. In this role, you will work closely with other Architects to define, develop and validate architecture models for next generation display used in NVIDIA products around the world.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Write architectural specifications by collaborating with other IP architects and SW teams.

  • Modeling and analysis of display algorithms and features.

  • Develop bit accurate functional models that serve as reference models for design verification.

  • Develop performance models that simulate various display access patterns and it's impact on overall memory subsystem.

  • Implement real-time image processing and power management algorithms on RISCV.

  • Develop tests, test plans, and testing infrastructure for new display architectures/features.

What we need to see:

  • MS (preferred) or BS in Computer Science with at least 5+ years of relevant experience

  • Strong programming ability: C, C++, PERL or Python.

  • Exposure to design and verification tools (Verilog, VCS, debug tools like Debussy, GDB).

  • Good understanding of image processing algorithms and experience with RISCV uCode development.

  • Good debugging and problem solving skills.

  • You have excellent written, verbal and technical communication skills.

  • Demonstrate use of out-of-box thinking for creative solutions to highly sticky problems.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Outstanding programming skills in Python, C/C++ is a huge plus.

  • Consistent track record to work independently as well as in a multi-disciplinary group environment.

  • You are a strong self-starter who loves to solve complicated problems.

  • Familiarity with pixel processing, ISO performance testing and high level synthesis based designs.

The base salary range is 148,000 USD - 276,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
