If your answers to these questions is "yes", please keep reading!  We are currently recruiting for a talented and passionate Supportive Housing Coordinator that will serve Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) in King County.   Under the general supervision of the Assistant Vice President of HCV, the Supportive Housing Coordinator will gather and analyze data as it relates to program evaluation plans within the HCV department. This incumbent will be responsible for researching and recommending policy and procedure changes, composing various documents and reports, managing assigned projects, supporting managers.   The King County Housing Authority   King County Housing Authority (KCHA) is the largest provider of affordable housing in the Pacific Northwest and a nationally recognized leader in affordable housing. Essential Functions

 

  • Schedules and facilitates meetings with stakeholders; prepares agendas and follow up communications; analyzes and evaluates problems, data, policy, regulations, and programs with critical, creative and reflective thinking to identify solutions and improved methods to achieving goals and objectives.  
  • Monitors and communicates referral targets and utilization to stakeholders; performs data analysis for creating operational program reports; prepares and completes the department's portion of planning and monthly utilization reporting documents; researches and gathers statistics and data to prepare management reports; researches and analyzes policies and procedures for the department; works in tandem with KCHA departments to accomplish goals and objectives. 
  • Provides technical assistance, problem solving, and training to staff and external stakeholders on various policies, regulations, and procedures applicable to supportive housing programs. 
  • Develops and uses tools and processes for collecting and managing data in accordance with program evaluation plans and operations; reviews partnership agreements (contracts, MOUs, MOAs, etc.) that govern supportive housing programs.
  • Drives action and results via exceptional facilitation skills including the ability to facilitate groups of people with divergent opinions. 
  • Participates in internal and external meetings to support data-informed decision making.

     

Qualifications and Competencies

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree AND
  • Considerable experience coordinating, implementing and monitoring program operations where data, reporting and facilitation of meetings was involved OR
  • An equivalent combination of experience and education that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of this position.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Comprehensive knowledge of modern principles, practices, theories, and techniques of leasing housing and organization management.
