CAE USA INC Training Manager - Instructional System Design in United States

Role and Responsibilities

The Training Manager – Instructional System Design (TMI) is responsible to the Manager for Training Capability (MTC) for leading the Instructional System Design (ISD) analysis and ADDIE solutions compliant with the System Approach to Defence Learning (SADL) in support of the Training Capability.

This role can be based in Sydney or Brisbane – with regular travel to our sites across the region.

The role we are offering you

  • Manage coordination and implementation of new platform training support plans

  • Ensure all staff are inducted and managed under an Instructor Induction Development and Continuation plan as per contractual requirements if the customer and global standards of CAE

  • Manage SME input to the Capture teams on large training system integration opportunities

  • Contribute to improving business efficiency in all areas balancing productivity, quality of training delivered and safety in the optimum manner.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor degree in education/vocational education is preferred, or equivalent work experience

  • Strong experience in training management systems, ADF desired

  • Experience and knowledge operating under an RTO framework

  • Relevant experience in leading large training development, training integration or engineering products

Security requirements

As the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
