Part-Time Property Advisor

West Chester Township has an immediate need to fill a Part-time Property Advisor position. The Part-time Property Advisor will assist with advising and counseling residents, businesses, and property owners in site and construction plan review and field inspections of new and existing construction and properties, ensuring compliance with the West Chester Township Zoning Resolution and the Property Maintenance Code. Normal work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30am – 4:30pm. This position will be for 20-25 hours per week. The pay range is $25.92-$27.92/hour.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Applicable professional certifications or ability to obtain certification by American Association of Code Enforcement and/or International Code Counsel or Relevant Experience working with Zoning Code Compliance

• Valid Driver’s License

• Strong organizational skills

• Customer Service experience

  Preferred Qualifications:

• Plan review related experience

• Basic residential and commercial construction experience

  Position is open until filled, with first review beginning 6/3/2024 and interviews taking place the week of 6/10/2024.
