JPMorgan Chase Risk Management - Third Party Data - Bureau Consumption - Vice President in Wilmington, Delaware

As a Risk Management - Third Party Data - Bureau Consumption - Vice President in Third Party Data Consumption, you will need both technical and analytical skills along with the ability to engage both internal and external stakeholders. You will possess a strong background in risk management and be able to lead initiatives across Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) lines of businesses.

The Third Party Data Consumption team has ownership and responsibility for all aspects of third party data consumption, including Credit Bureau data, across all Lines of Business within CCB. The team is tasked with implementing strong controls around bureau data consumption while ensuring all FCRA guidelines, permissible use, and regulatory alignment is adhered to along with optimization of third party data.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and key point of contact for all STAR attribute related items

  • Partner with CCB Risk Modelling and policy teams to create new attributes to address emerging trends in the credit bureau data ecosystem

  • Lead coordination of attribute updates and deployments with internal stakeholders and the National Credit Reporting Agencies

  • Execute regular attribute validations and identify any significant variances. Own communication to stakeholders and any required actions.

  • Leverage Ascend Data Services to create analytic data sets

  • Support control framework and audit readiness through process and procedure updates, exception research, evidence preparation, and overviews for management, controls, and audit partners

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree or higher with 5+ years of work experience

  • Strong Credit Bureau knowledge

  • Understanding of CCB risk processes and procedures specifically acquisitions credit underwriting and portfolio management policies and systems

  • Strong data knowledge and analytical skills

  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational skills, communication skills and the ability to work independently

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint applications and overall strong written and verbal communication

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Working knowledge of STAR attributes and CCB Risk Models preferred

  • Experience in Card, Mortgage and/or Auto Industry preferred

  • Previous experience using SQL, SAS, Python, Tableau preferred
